Viewed from the front the Mazda CX-80 is visually matched to its CX-60 sibling but in profile the extended side windows feature thicker surrounds that are straighter at the D Pillar to accentuate the longer wheelbase and the presence of the third-row seating, while the seamlessly integrated roof rails further highlight the length of the CX-80’s spacious interior.
Available in nine exterior colours, the Mazda CX-80 sees the debut of two new colours: Melting Copper and Artisan Red. The other colours in the range are Arctic White, Rhodium White, Soul Red Crystal, Machine Grey, Jet Black, Deep Crystal Blue and Platinum Quartz. Well suited to a large vehicle, Artisan Red evokes even deeper refinement than Soul Red Crystal with is darker and deeper shade of red, while Melting Copper suggests light sandblasting to the surface of copper than has been melted and hardened again.
Exclusive-Line Mazda CX-80’s feature 18-inch metallic alloy wheels and matt black body side mouldings. Homura and Homura Plus models have body coloured 20-inch black alloy wheels, which match to the black door mirrors. Diesel and PHEV versions are distinguished by ‘In-Line Six’ or ‘PHEV’ lettering in the front side gill badges, which are silver on Exclusive-Line, Takumi and Takumi Plus models, while on Homura and Homura Plus they are black to match the black wheels and mirrors.
