Wheels e-Skyactiv G
A low-to-the-ground nose design and a reduced gap between the wheel arches and tyres accentuate the Mazda3’s striking proportions. Prime-Line and Centre-Line e-Skyactiv G cars feature 16-inch silver alloy wheels, while Exclusive-Line and Takumi cars feature 18-inch grey alloys. The e-Skyactiv G Homura is marked out by 18-inch black alloy wheels and matching mirrors.
Wheels e-Skyactiv X
Cars powered by the revolutionary 186ps e-Skyactiv X engine feature different wheels across the hatchback model grades. Prime-Line and Centre-Line have silver 16-inch wheels, while Exclusive-Line, Homura and Takumi feature black 18-inch alloy wheels. Suited to its different style, Saloon models have 18-inch bright silver alloy wheels.
Paint
The Mazda3 hatchback is offered in nine body colours - Artic White, Snowflake White, Deep Crystal Blue, Jet Black, Machine Grey, Polymetal Grey, Platinum Quartz, Ceramic Metallic and Soul Red Crystal. The Mazda3 Saloon is only available in Arctic White, Deep Crystal Blue, Machine Grey and Soul Red Crystal.
LED lights
All versions of the Mazda3 feature LED daylight running lights and LED headlamps with high-beam control. From Sport models onwards the latest Mazda3 benefits from Adaptive LED Headlights, which raise the level of confidence when driving at night by distributing the light from high-beams in three different patterns depending on the car’s speed, while six-stage directional control is linked to the steering angle.
Wipers
The Mazda3 features evolved windscreen wiper operation. Not only do the wipers constantly fine-tune their operating angle in small adjustments to ensure they clean right to the edge of the glass, they are also housed beneath the bonnet line when inactive, thereby improving visibility and aerodynamics. In addition, the washer jets are attached to the wiper arms to provide improved screen cleaning action, while the Takumi model features a front wiper de-icer.
Styling
Designed to deliver a condensed and emotional look, the Mazda3’s sporty proportions and clean lines create a uniquely stylish hatchback. To achieve the cars Mazda look, all character lines are eliminated and instead the beautifully curved panels reflect light and the surrounding environment. From Exclusive Line trim onwards rear privacy glass and piano black window garnish enhance the look, while across all models, the dark metallic colour and bold contouring of the signature wing and grille distinguishes the hatch from the saloon, which features a chrome plated signature wing and horizontal grille effect.
Mazda3 Saloon
With an identical wheelbase, it is 200mm longer than its hatchback sibling, and when it comes to exterior panels it shares just its windscreen and bonnet with the hatchback. Flowing from front to rear in a single motion, the saloon’s smooth surface movements evoke elegance and maturity akin to the Vision Coupe concept car. Its chrome plated grille and unique front bumper adopt a horizontal layout that accentuate a low and wide stance on the road. The combined result is a refined expression of sophistication.
