The entry-level Prime-Line model features premium black cloth seat trim, while Centre-Line and Exclusive-Line cars have black artificial leather and suede effect seat trim, plus with the later grade there’s the option of two-tone black and white artificial leather and suede effect. Range-topping Homura cars come with black leather or the option of Sport Tan leather seats with tan centre console and door trim.
All models feature Google built-in, Google Maps navigation and access to more useful apps tailored to the vehicle via Google Play, USB-C inputs, integrated Bluetooth and Mazda connected services. From Centre-Line Qi wireless charging, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, while Exclusive-Line adds rear USB-C inputs and Bose audio. The first three grades feature a 12.9-inch central touchscreen, while Homura models feature a bigger 15.6-inch version.
The all-new Mazda CX-5 delivers more interior space than the outgoing model: with a 115mm longer wheelbase there’s extra passenger space and with wider rear doors easier ingress and egress. The boot has been enlarged to 583-litres, 61-litres more than the previous model, while the rear seats folded cargo capacity reaches an impressive 2,019-litres - that’s 381-litres more than its predecessor. The 40:20:40 rear seat folding layout also helps flexibility
From Centre-Line onwards the interior standard equipment tally includes driver electric seat adjustment, heated front seats, heated steering wheel and frameless rear-view mirror. From Exclusive-Line you get passenger seat electric adjustment and heated rear seats, while Homura models feature Mazda Driver Personalisation System and ventilated front seats
The ambient cabin lighting inside the all-new Mazda CX-5 Homura offers seven selectable colours allowing for varied atmospheric lighting effects for the interior. Brightness levels can also be adjusted.
All models feature front and rear parking sensors and a reversing camera with dynamic guidelines, while Exclusive-Line and Homura models have a 360-degree view monitor as standard. Other day-to-day usability highlights include a power tailgate, which is standard from Centre-Line onwards.
An 8-speaker audio system comes as standard, while from Exclusive-Line upwards a Bose 12-speaker premium sound system with Perceptual Sound Rendering delivers an immersive, lifelike sound by optimising bass distribution across all speakers, ensuring a balanced and natural sound for all occupants. The latest-generation automatic noise compensation system continuously adjusts audio output to counteract wind noise in addition to road noise. Speakers are angled towards occupants and are placed closer to the ear level, with their position allowing amplification in the four corners of the cabin, further enhancing the refined in-car experience
