Launched in 2024, the current Mazda2 Hybrid gets a face with a true to Mazda grille design and more elegant rear design than in the previous version. At the front, the Mazda five-point grille aperture is flanked by sharply projecting headlamp clusters, which extend far back into the front wings to visually reduce the length of the front overhang to give a sporty stance on the road.
Below the headlights a set of pentagonal air inlets frame the grille and create a recess for the fog lamp. The fog lamp housing and the grille feature a six-sided pattern that’s reminiscent of the Mazda Kai concept and the Mazda3. The front spoiler has a smooth and wide shape, which combined with the grille, headlamp and air intake design gives the Mazda2 Hybrid an elegant and sporty look. From Homura grade upwards LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and LED rear combination lights give the car an even more stand out lighting signature.
In profile, the front and rear wing protrusions combine with subtle sculpting of the bonnet, the doors and wheel designs to convey a sense of vitality and stability. As with the front design, the rear design of the latest Mazda2 Hybrid was designed in cooperation between Mazda European Design studio in Germany and Mazda Headquarters in Japan, it features a tailgate garnish in body-colour, which distinguishes the rear look from the OEM supplied version. Unique to Mazda badges also mark out the Mazda2 Hybrid and with a range of seven bold colours there’s plenty of choice to compliment this well designed small car.
