Exterior

Both grades of Mazda6e feature the same silver/black alloy wheel design. An example of form and function in harmony, these 19-inch aluminium wheels have range-boosting aerodynamics to go with their sporty five-spoke design and flat black surfaces.

The Mazda6e will be available in seven metallic colours, including Soul Red Crystal, the brand’s signature colour. Other colours are Aero Grey, Crystal White Pearl, Machine Grey, Polymetal Grey, Deep Crystal Blue and Jet Black.

With a “glowing” signature grille surround, the Mazda6e, takes Mazda’s signature front styling to a new level with its illuminated appearance. It features dynamic illumination which makes the wing appear to flutter when charging starts and the lighting also indicates charging status via the bars within the design.

Named World Car Design of the Year in the 2026 World Car of the Year Awards – a title Mazda also took with the Mazda MX-5 in 2016 - the Mazda6e was designed according to the “Authentic Modern” concept. The exterior adapts the essence of beauty inherent in all the brand’s models with a subtle edge fitting Mazda’s next battery electric vehicle.

The Mazda6e is the first Mazda production car to have an automatic rear spoiler. The electrically extendable rear spoiler not only adds another athletic touch to the design but also enhances road stability. It rises when the car passes 56mph and it can be programmed to rise in Sport Mode or to rise and fall as part of the welcome mode sequence when locking and unlocking the car. Below it, newly designed Mazda lettering replaces the Mazda badge as part of Mazda’s latest visual identity direction.
