The Mazda CX-6e features Maztex, which is Mazda’s proprietary synthetic, vegan alternative to leather used for vehicle seat trim and upholstery. Takumi models come with a choice of Stone or Black Maztex, while Takumi Plus gets a two-tone Amethyst and White Maztex. Maztex is designed to be durable and easy to clean while delivering comfort with a premium appearance.

With a smart cockpit focused on an ultra-wide 26.45-inch touchscreen with a customisable split layout for driver and front passenger, the CX-6’s central screen has a 32:9 format, 5K presentation, anti-glare aluminium-silicon coating and rapid response – all designed for clear operation in varied lighting. A large head-up display places key driving information and navigation guidance in the driver’s forward view.

The Mazda CX-6e’s Voice recognition responds naturally to everyday requests – whether that’s adjusting the temperature, opening the windows, or finding your next destination. Next to Wireless CarPlay® and Android Auto™, the all-new CX-6e has its own dedicated app, with many remote-control functions including Bluetooth® key sharing and battery charge management.

Despite its low, sleek profile, the CX-6e provides generous space for five occupants. Front and rear headroom measure 1,013 mm and 994 mm, with 1,481 mm and 1,432 mm of shoulder room. Scalloped front-seat backs and 150 mm of foot space beneath them help provide 990 mm of rear legroom and 122 mm of knee clearance. Multiple storage areas reinforce the uncluttered feel.

The steering wheel of the CX-6e features two favourite/star buttons that can be programmed to be short cuts to key audio, car or navigation functions. With a long press and short press on each there’s a total of four functions that can be programmed onto the pair of buttons.
